What if you test out another web dynpro application, just to see if that will launch.
Example go to powl_cockpit and select one of the applications there. Then press launch POWL.
If that doesn't come up either, then there is an issue with probably the ICM.
Just for curiousity, is the NWBC service enabled in the ICF and also the launch service. Otherwise that might be your issue.
Also it might be a problem with a fully qualified domain name.

well, if you are having many systems to connect to and you are using tools like KeePass for example, the automated password entry will only work, if the SID is shown in the window title itself. If you use plain SAP GUI, the SID is already shown in the title on the logon screen. If you use NWBC, it is just showing "SAP GUI" when the login screen is shown.

same here too. NWBC 5.0 PL9 and also the new Business Client 6.0.
Aaah got ya. I use keepass but just with the autotype functionality. A good plugin could be the floating panel. Then you don't have to have the keepass window open all the time.

me, too since many years but if you have many many SAP systems to connect to, and you are using NWBC the autotype functionality is not working if you are using in you auto type patterns the window description to separate the system. This works absolutely fine with the standard SAP GUT but unfortunatelly not with NWBC.

Thanks for the response. The POWL opens successfully in the web browser.
If I copy the NWBC link to firefox, the message is: "500 SAP Internal Server Error - ERROR: The URL contains no complete domain specification (citdb03 instead of citdb03.<domain>.<ext>). (termination: RABAX_STATE)" - which points out FQDN 
I tried adding the FQDN to the server name in the link (from profile parameter icm/host_name_full), and then it opens successfully!
http://citdb03.company.com:8003/nwbc/~launch/?sap-client=500&sap-language=EN
To fix this, I added the FQDN to the /etc/hosts file of the server, now the transaction is working fine:

https://citdb03.company.com:8443/sap/bc/nwbc?sap-client=500&sap-language=EN

For that particular user. The user is a key in the "favorites connection".
You can control this in the NWBCoptions if you maintain this in an admin config.
I know I can access %appdata%\roaming\sap\nbbc\tabs and edit which tabs to start with when opening NWBC. The settings are handled in <system>.nwbc.tabs
Inside the files are parameters such as system, client and username is defined, which forces this to into a local configuration. You cannot copy this file to other users because of this. When a user Pins tabs, this changes the configuration of the files.
Do you know how this can be handled from a central point?
Maybe even in an "all systems" file that contains no information on system, client and user?

Im trying to setup the and deploy the sap role SAP_CO_PROJECT_PLANNER for easy cost planning. The Webdynpro for ECP works ok until i try to use a planning form. i get the error "Floorplan Manager component configuration for template & not found". The planning form works well in CJ20N.
Question is.. how to i setup Floorplan Manager component configuration for the ECP planning form

for testing purposes I've installed NWBC 5.0 both on a Citrix terminal Server farm and local on a PC. Until now NWBC isn't used productively but we are preparing a Company-wide distribution. Some departments are asking for it. Patch level is SAPKB74010, IE11 is running, SAP Logon 7.40 is installed together with NWBC, latest patches are installed.
Well, It's my job now to test NWBC...
...and here is my problem: While the Citrix installation works fine so far, the local installation doesn't. Calling a page with Flash content ("B2B by Practice - Cockpit", http://xxxxxxxx02:50000/b2bbp-engine/org.b2bbp.admin/main.html - the splash screen is Flash) I get the error message
"Alternate HTML Content should be placed here. This Content requires the Adobe Flash Player. Get Flash."
Sure, it sounds like missing Flash, but Flash IS installed. Calling that page in IE11 works. Implementing the page in SAP Gui 7.40 via SSM_CUST/SESS_URL works, too. Only in NWBC and only on a local Installation the error message is displayed. Have no idea...
I have checked the configuration options and compared bw. local and Citrix Installation - no success. I have searched in Service Marketplace and here in SCN - no success.
I would appreciate any help I could get... :-) Does anyone have an idea?
P.S. Installed NWBC 6.0 - same Problem.
