NWBC 5.0: How to do automatic execution in a flow?
Hi Experts,
I am studying a task that is related to some kind of automatic excutions.
Here is the case:
Start a tcode, eg, iw38, > type some input parameters in some fields > execute > Now we want to go through some checking excutions to see if there is any time registration missing. > If there are some, then on the result screen, we will see trafic light icons.
Question: how to implement such an activity in NWBC that after user press the excuete icon, it will go through some checking excutions. I know in Personas tool one can implement scripts to envoke some activities like these. But would it possible to do such thing in NWBC? If so, how to do it?Shoud one implement specific ABAP program to run the logics?

NWBC HTML is themeable only with the UI designer, which requires NWBC Runtime 3.6. If you want to use NWBC_CFG, that means you use NWBC Runtime 3.5 which for the HTML client supports only the standard themes (sap_tradeshow_plus und sap_corbu).

Netweaver business client (Not Responding) frequently occurred
Hi,
I have a issue with my Netweaver Business client. I don't see the same issue with other colleagues.
When I start up NWBC or perform transactions in NWBC, the application gets hanged and displays (Not Responsding) message (attached screenshot).
I have cleaned up system temp files, cache files, NWBC cache, browser cache. But still the issue persists. I am on NWBC 5.0
It gets little frustrating as this occurs frequently while performing every transaction / every click. Any idea on what other things I need to check to go away with this issue.

Thanks for the links. Like Dong, I am also trying to enable the side panels, so far without success.
For the link Setting Up... does all of this apply to the more recent versions? Our environment is NWBC 5.0 and ECC 6.0 EHP 7.
Also does the Business Function /BCV/NWBC_SIDEPANEL need to be activated for all SAP-provided side panles? It is not clearly mentioned in the pre-requisites, but it sounds relevant.
The suggested role, SAP_BSSP_FI_CO_FSCM, is fairly complex and FI is a sensitive area to configure as a trial. Are there other simpler ways to get started?

I am still on the way to try the example. The role is for demo case, so it should be no trouble to get it. I have been able to "see" the side panel in another tcoode me51n but the info was not passed.

SAP Business Client 6.0 - Windows 10 Issue
Hi all,
So I've run into an issue when trying to use SAP Business Client 6.0 on a Windows 10 machine. (The same issue occurs using NWBC 5.0)
When I log onto SAP using SAP GUI 740 (patchlevel 5) everything works as expected, however, when I try login to the GUI using SAP Business Client, it hangs on the SAP Easy Access menu screen.
The 'blue donut' loading icon on the tab constantly does loops and it seems to refresh the screen each time. When attempting to type a transaction code on this screen, it refreshes before I'm able to type anything in and hit enter. None of the Menu icons are select-able either.
I've found that If I copy and paste a transaction code into the box and hit enter quick enough I can catch it before it refreshes and it successfully takes me into a transaction code - so this loading issue seems to only occur on the Menu Screen.
Notes:
- .Net framework 3.5 & 4.6 active.
- GUI updated to latest version
- Visual studio versions correct as per SAP Business Client prerequisites.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure, but page is built with WDR_CHIP_PAGE app. There are a lot others to configure. Classes and codes implementations.
Here is my point - instead of making a complex "Real case" example that requires so many changes that could go wrong easily for newers, why can't there be a simple example, say run a transaction and in its sdie panel just show the name of the transaction. It is good enough for people to understand the sidepanel architecture.
Anyone knows or made something like this?

NWBC 5.0: SAPGUI 7.40: SAPUILandscape.xml cannot be parsed by Team Provider
Hi Experts,
I upgraded SAPGUI from 7.30 to 7.40 in order to install NWBC 5.0. Now when I try to use SAPUI5 ABAP Repository Team Provider (1.28.9) to sync my codes in Eclipse and the server, I got an error saying "SAPUILandscape.xml cannot be parsed". It was working OK with SAPGUI 7.30.
Does anyone know which Team Provider version will work with 7.40? I cannot go back to 7.30 as I need to use NWBC 5.0.
